At SneakPeek Labs, a test process called non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is used to analyze cell-free fetal DNA. Starting with a small sample of blood from mom, plasma is separated from whole blood by centrifuge, and extracted cell-free fetal DNA (cffDNA) is analyzed for Y chromosomes, which are found only in males. The SneakPeek test is sensitive enough to find even a single Y chromosome, giving you confidence in your results. Noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) detects the presence or absence of fetal cells that originated in the placenta. The procedure involves extracting cell-free fetal DNA (cffDNA) from maternal blood and amplifying its copy number through polymerase chain reaction analysis and multiplex ligation dependent probe amplification (MLPA). Unlike other methods of screening for Down syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities, NIPT does not rely on information about an individual's age or ethnicity - it can be performed at any time during pregnancy and it does not require invasive procedures such as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling.

Policy
We require you to be under prenatal care with an OBGYN or Midwife to receive our Elective Pregnancy Ultrasound and DNA blood test services. A simple email, previous ultrasound or anything indicating you are under prenatal care will work. In the unfortunate circumstance that we find a fetus without a beating heart, you will be refunded in full no questions asked. If we call the wrong gender, you will be refunded in full no questions asked, as well as a free 3D/4D/HD Ultrasound. If your DNA NIPT Gender Test is wrong, you get a full refund. If baby is shy for their 3D/4D/HD scan, we may have you come back for a free scan within two weeks.
